A growing number of fine euph/tuba performances are being added to the Acidplanet web site, including quartets and bands.

Here's the link, click on my favourites and it will take you to the list;

Online Recordings

Post by dwerden »

There are a couple more sources I can suggest to listen easily to solos and small ensembles online.

The first is Cimarron Music Press, who publish a lot of brass music. Many of these have MP3 recordings available, and they are often very good performances. Just follow the link below and choose the instrument you want. Any title with a recording will show an icon of a pair of eighth notes on the right side:

I have placed several recordings of my own playing (euphonium, baritone, and double-bell euphonium) on my site, and they are all free downloads.

On my blog I sometimes post links to free downloads of music. I have a couple of U.S. military bands and recently posted a link to a performance I did of A Second Chance, by Andre Previn.

And, finally, on my site's discussion forum, registered members have access to recordings that are not available elsewhere. I have just begun this feature and uploaded the first recording, this one of tuba soloist Roger Bobo playing the Barat Introduction and Dance with the United States Coast Guard Band. You have to be a registered member to see this particular topic.
