the elusive old mouthpiece

Years ago I found an old Denis Wick mouthpiece among a selection of second hand mouthpieces in a music shop...I think It was an 11X.. it was a very shallow but wide bowl and a very thick rim ...very uncharacteristic for a Denis Wick and thats what struck me about it...It was a jazz trumpet mouthpiece and I had it machined down and the shank shortened to fit my Soprano cornet... the range was incredible and upper ledger line register was effortless not to mention the massive sound It gave me..Unfortunately I lost it on a march one day and I have never been able to find another one like it...D/W certainly dont make them anymore....Has anyone else ever come across one of these ? or anything like it?
