Mozart for Euphonium

Post by Highams »

The wonderful solo works of Mozart have always, I think, been suited to the Euphonium, but then I'm biased!

The Violin Sonata K303 had been adapted for Flute by young Miss Hatsuho Kuwayama from Santiago, Chile, on Sibelius. I contacted her and asked for an adaption for Euphonium (of the 1st. movement) in a suitable key of concert F.

This is now available, with piano accomp. free;

Obviously there are small differences if you listen to the original, but I'm convinced this (played in the suitable style) sounds like real Mozart for Euphonium!

Please email her and say thanks if you print a copy!
